Press Release | April 14, 2026
Solnet Group, a pan-European Smart Solar solutions developer, announced today it has installed three onsite solar projects at Amazon sites across Germany. The sites are located in Achim, Sindelfingen and Gattendorf and together have a capacity of 7.8 MWp. These sites are built to the highest standards and the energy produced by these solar utilities is consumed directly on site to power Amazon’s operations.
The operation and maintenance of these solar PV units will be covered by Solnet Group’s O&M services. The company focuses on safety, quality and remote inspection to ensure reliable operation of the solar utilities for corporate customers. Solnet Group performs proactive regular maintenance ensuring the solar utilities generate the expected yield over their long lifecycle.
“These projects are an excellent example of our capability to deliver large-scale onsite solar utilities to corporate clients with the highest quality standards and requirements,” says Jonatan Höglund, Head of International Corporates at Solnet Group. “The solar installations we develop support corporate customers, like Amazon, who are committed to increasing their use of carbon-free electricity.”
